CV

Cristina Priboi completed her bachelor's degree in psychology at West University in Timisoara, Romania. She pursued her master's studies in Switzerland and earned her MSc in Personality and Social Psychology from the University of Bern in 2018. Subsequently, she began her PhD at the University of Lucerne, Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine. In Lucerne, her research focused on the long-term late effects on adult survivors of childhood cancer and the psychological well-being of their family members. During her PhD studies, she conducted research abroad with a mobility fellowship at the Princess Máxima Center in the Netherlands, where she explored challenges related to the sexuality of adult childhood cancer survivors. In October 2023 she joined the Animal Welfare Division and started working with Prof. Hanno Würbel on a feasibility study. In her current work, Cristina aims to assess the opportunities and challenges of preregistration in animal research within the Swiss context.
