InMice: How Inbreeding impacts developmental robustness and stress resilience in mice

My research interest is in behavioural ecology, with a focus on mammals and birds. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Biodiversity at the University of Hong Kong, where my thesis investigated human interventions in a behavioural experiment for Asian Elephants. I received my master’s degree in Ecology, Evolution and Systematics at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and wrote my thesis at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Intelligence, where I compared daytime and nighttime singing of nightingales during breeding season. I joined the Animal Welfare Division in April 2024 as a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hanno Würbel, researching developmental robustness and stress resilience in inbred mice.
